Recently, much to the dismay of numerous glassblowers and glass collectors alike, the Wicked Sands production bay in Southern California in Tarzana was closed down. I had the fortunate opportunity to create many solid friendships within the extended Wicked Sands family, and although sad to see such a fantastic glass company shut its doors, I am thankful for the friends made. And thankfully also Wicked Sands will continue to supply the Greater Los Angeles area and beyond with high quality boro from the nation's top artists, from their retail shop in Reseda. So if in the area, make sure to drop by their store on Ventura Blvd. and check out their selection of amazing glass! A humongous debt of gratitude to all the Wicked Sands family for all their help and support in our first year here at SHINOBI GLASS, and for putting out some of the best products this year had to offer in the industry, bar none! Still convinced their "Tiny Tube" line this year was one of, if not the best the year had to offer! Our continued support always from your neighbor to the north, thanks WICKED SANDS! And who knows what the future holds for this company, they just may blast back on to the scene even bigger and better than before, only time will tell! So here's to the Kings of SoCal in my book, an illustrated tribute with some of my favorite items and photos from this year from this crew, thanks for looking everyone;-)

Tiny Tubes, the Tube of Year IMHO...

They didn't want to play the tubing game so they started pulling their own, and man, was it sweet...

This purple fade by Spike was one of my favorites!

A nuclear-themed blasted sherlock by Spike also...

Tons of top-notch tubes, styles & sizes galore!

Tiny A/C's and inlines as well to match their break-out line of perfect mini-tubes!

Clean & classy logos!

WS FTW!

(PS Remaining WS inventory has been moved to the "Misc. Amer. Art." page FYI!)
