Fall Crafts Festival in the Ville here had its own lil glass punkin patch! Not nearly as impressive as that of the Corning Museum in NY, from what I glimpsed online of theirs obviously, but pretty cool nonetheless!

Saturday 10/24

Got a bunch new stuff to post as well as in the wings! But for starters, here's what's been going on this last week...

Found that Koji/T-Dub tiny fillabeak tucked away when I was down south just recently!

And hung out with Hacky Sacky for a late-night sesh; here's a tree-lock she was working on!



Some cats coming soon from her shop FYI!

Check back soon because I am going to do my best to get up the new glass I just came home with ASAP, including a grip of minibubs & swing-arms!!!

Slide Racks!

From local woodworker G.L., here is the first batch of all-wood handworked slideholders!

Display racks for 2" jars...


Next time around they will have flush-mounted GonG female joints secured in the wood holes!

This was one of those pieces that just knock you on your ass when you lay eyes upon it, you know?

Got to peep this thing this spring down in Reseda at the Wicked Sands bay where it was created when I was thru for a visit.

Missy said she thinks it was around early May and that sounds fine to me.

The blowers that worked together on this amazing bub were Luke Wilson, Cowboy, JOP, Arty, and Ryno.

It has two slides, both with the Luke Wilson style disc-diffused pushs.

17 inches tall, and from arm to arm on the "EleShiva" thing she's 5 inches.

The fixed stem has ten multicolored arms that can be seen through the clear part of the can.

"The piece was made at WS in Reseda and I loved it sooooo much that I had to keep it for myself ;)" said Missy of this awesome glass behemoth! If she didn't, I surely would have, ha!

Big props to the blowers obviously, and to Missy for sharing this incredibly exceptional masterpiece made by some of today's boro maestros! Thanks for looking everyone!

Slackin' again on bringing y'all any sort of update or even news from the field...

What's on deck, hmmm... Some Fro slides in the next week... Some more WS next week also... Gonna start offering wood slide racks, from a local woodworker too...

Gonna throw this lone Strobel aquatic slide up on the site tonite, made earlier this spring, and one of the last known produced as far as I know...
