Holiday Weekend!

Hope everyone is enjoying themselves on this Labor Day Weekend! Had a little BBQ with the crew over here and this thing was the real star of the party! Wicked Sands Tiny Double-Disc Stemless! "Duh-duh-duh, I'm just an errl machine..."

This thing has SO MUCH diffusion contained within its 13" tall small bore body!

Forced perc through the stem first(1), then up through the first disc, along with the water trapped by the internal pressure and surface tension on top of it(2), up through the second disc and another small bit of water(3), and through the ring splashguard, which also has water caught above it(4), BEFORE it even hits the Luke Wilson 10-arm mini-tree!!!

FOUR levels of hydro-diffusion, including two 9-hole discs, PRIOR to even going through the tree chamber! That's pretty sick, even more so considering the four inches that this is all occurring inside of!!! After the tree, there is a real splashguard as well. This is probably one of my favorite items to appear on the market this year, brought to you once again by none other than Southern California's very own Wicked Sands! Great job team, thumbs up all around!!!

Also, a kudos to all participants & winners at the recent Flame-Off up at the Eugene Glass School last weekend! Especially to Nick Voorhees, who took 3rd in individual competition as well as 1st in team with Nate Dizz! And to Team Revere, taking 2nd in team sculpture! A thanks to them for some pics we will get up here later in the day so check back later for those! And also to Adam G, who got the 1st place prize for individual work! This was all art glass, with no pipemaking being accepted for entries by the way. Awesome job to everybody once again!

So everyone have fun this long weekend, but most importantly, be safe out there! But relax in the knowledge that if worst comes to worst, the Delta Force is still there to protect you if you overindulge and somehow end up in the hospital, LOL...
