ALEX K!

We would like to welcome Alex K to SHINOBI GLASS! Alex needs no intro, as people have been emailing me for months now, "Do you have Alex K showerhead diffys?" Well people, let me say, VERY SOON! For now, check out the slides of his just posted, and tonight or tomorrow sometime at the latest, I will have pics of a couple matching stemsets I have as well. So without further ado, straight from the Midwest, ladies & gentlemen, I give you ALEX K...

T-FUNK

A small batch of T-Funk slides are now up on the site, and the Alex K slides & stemsets will be up as well a little bit later in the day! Thanks for looking!

STONE GLASSWORKS

Stone's showerhead diffys have had a positive response after being released on the site just recently! The cuts are slightly angled rather than running parallel to the stem, and create some serious diffusion let me tell ya, since there are so many of 'em! The only drawback I see with these are that the slits are extremely narrow and thus do not allow any material to drain out of the stem and therefore increases drag unless you rinse the stem constantly. Flame-polished looks better aesthetically but rough-cut aids functionality in the sense that the slits don't get made any smaller after they are cut. He told me that he just reworked his design so I am interested to see the improvements! He emailed me these photos for the blog; hope y'all enjoy!

A collab Stone did with Mr. Belsho: water & purple fade with kryptonite sparkle, mixed by hand by Stone himself, and a peacock chameleon goblin head by Belsho. Stone said the piece sold during the anneal cycle, like 2 hours after they had finished working on it, LOL! Good job guys! Stone says to keep a lookout for more of the goblin-head A/C's from him and Belsho in the future...Thanks man for the pics, and the gear as always!

Looks to be a busy week here with incoming packages, so check back daily for new glass!

DOSA

Temperatures may have dropped slightly today, but Dosa ain't letting up on the flames! Here's a sick lil dome set he made; green & white vs. black & steel wool, all covered with a touch of dichro, and a moldavite "paddle"!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

And another set, full dome, with dish & dabber, this time in a smokin' red, black & white scheme, and already headed up North...

Eusheen slide!

Here is the very first installment of our new series of YOUR photos! Collectors across the land, near and far, showing off their goodies, here on the SHINOBI GLASS Blog! So without further ado, let's jump right in!!!

This insanely sick slide comes to us from Eusheen courtesy of a southeastern stoneR friend;) Not only does this guy have the glass, he has the camera to boot! This slide is on an 18mm Honalee joint, and it is faceted around the edges; one of my faves when I first saw it, and still is today!

ATTN: GLASS COLLECTORS!

Glassheads of America! I would like to once a week or even more, depending on the response I get to this, showcase heady pieces from private collections across the country, or worldwide even. If anyone who reads this is interested in participating, please send an email to shinobiglass@gmail.com with photos, info, reviews, anything you might want me to mention in the blog, etc. Clean glass only please! More than mere functional pieces, today's glass creations are undoubtedly deserving of the title, "ART," whether the naysayers agree or not! And thusly, these artistic endeavors need to be given the exposure and respect they most truly deserve! A big heartfelt thanks to all the glassblowers out there, and to all the great souls in our community & industry! Thanks everybody!
