Eush slide
Steel wool tetris with signature implosion milli and steel wool latticino horn by Eusheen...

The Music Never Stopped...
Hung out with Eusheen till 4AM watching him finish up the a new GD-themed bub! Being able to view him at work is not only a pleasure, but he really takes his time to show and explain what he's doing, even if you don't even ask! A great opportunity, from a great teacher! Here's a few creation shots...

And another recent bub he made, entitled "Big Blue." About 13" tall, and 6" wide at the base. Amazon night, Blue spruce, and Aqua (some mixed with Unobtainium I think he said-but made by his brother Shen!) were the colors used. There is one of his sick wigged-out fillacellos on the bottom. Also a J-Red Wig-Wag milli under the monster facet Eush himself cut. Three flat cane horns with dichro. Signature implosion milli. Double tetris on the can. Wigged basket weave on the disc up top. A real beaut from a real master...

Off to the shop to see the final product, out of the kiln - can barely contain my excitement!!!

STROBEL
Dave's most recent personal project, in preparation for the upcoming AGE show in Vegas, is his new signature line of worked murrini blow-out tubes.

Ranging in height so far between 18"-22", all lathe-made with 50mm X 5mm clear tubing and Strobel's own in-house color tubing...

500 of these are to be released, all ti-signed by Dave and numbered...

Most have a single wig-wag section set between two black sections for a lip, but Dave has made a few with double-stacks...

Lo-pro 18/14mm bushing-style diffusers with matching worked sections and slides with millis (with production using super-beefy joints to commence tomorrow I think!)...

Skulls & crossbones for the pirates...

Starbursts...

What I like to refer to as his "Chaos History," a collection of several murrinis Dave has created over the years, formed into one larger image...

Rasta lions...

Dragons...

And just some mega-tight Strobel wig-wags! The plan Dave told me about was to start doing triples on them from now on; a wig-wag inside a wig-wag inside a last wig! (Which also creates a thicker equals more durable base as well!)

There were a few at the beginning of this series that didn't quite match color-wise, but from here on out, all tubes will have matched worked sections throughout. There should be a lot more options as far as color schemes to choose from, as well as murrini selections (US flags, black widow spiders, and skunks so far; aliens, insects, aquatics, ?!? to come...) over the course of the next few weeks, and SHINOBI GLASS will keep you updated for sure! Thanks for looking everybody!

EUSHEEN
So who's working in the area for a while? EUSHEEN!!! Awesome! After getting extremely excited checking out pics of a recent GD bub he created...

...he told me today he still has some of the red, white & blue tubing Shen made for that same bub with him here! Got to watch him work on small bub this afternoon which sure looked sweet as well. It sure is gonna be a real treat to get to watch Eush behind the torch here in town for a while, hooray!

And also getting ready to cut loose some of Dave's new signature tube line! Murrini blow-out bottoms, matching wigs up top, and matching diffys & slides! Ti-signed and numbered, in a limited collection of 500. More details to follow...
Also a small set of Cowboy's slides on the way to boot!

BLUE!
"Yo."
"What?"
"Didja hear?"
"Hear what?"
"Blue. He's back."
"Sweeeeet."
That's the word on the street. Blue is putting the past in the past and after a little more R&R, he should hopefully be back behind the torch again! Great news for us, even better news for him! We are all behind you brother, and can't wait to see you smiling amongst us again!
