YOSEMITE!

Been playing around with the panoramic mode on my camera, and it's pretty cool actually! The top one is El Cap and the bottom is of Bridalveil Fall, I think the camera added a few sections in there somehow though...Oh, there's a guide when you take the pictures so they line up correctly, oops...

Overwhelmed and awed and soothed by all the incredible natural beauty surrounding me! Makes me feel much like I did when I went to Kauai years ago; calm and peaceful and happy and in touch with the natural world and away from the current troubles of humanity and civilization. But then there are idiots speeding through the park, jeopardizing not only the wildlife (ie bears!), but they are also probably missing most of it really. And just where the hell do you have to go in such a hurry inside the park? Like people who travel Europe and spend a day or two in each country - how can you really absorb or even enjoy anything so rushed? Speaking of Europeans, I understand Americans get a bad rap for being obnoxious tourists. Because there really are a lot of egocentric douchebags in our country unfortunately. But they come from everywhere, as clearly demonstrated by the group of young Euro-crap who jumped the fence at the sequoia grove to get photos, completely disrespecting their surroundings. Probably French, ugh. A lot more photos, but even before the day was over, after stopping what felt like every 5 minutes for another picture, there's just so much to take in that it sort of felt like redundancy and almost not worthy of trying to capture it digitally, you know? Anyways, I am sure I will still take a thousand more photos before my week here is done!
