A (crappy) photo on my phone's camera at a red light in the center of my little square town...

And one I took back in SF during the war protests years ago...
The Grateful Dead... are still EVERYWHERE!
STAY HIGH & KEEP MOVING! Two rules of LIVIN' Neal Cassady swore by, ain't so wrong...
Looking back and reminiscing, I am struck by several highlights of my short but fun Dead tour...
My first show ever, it was my Mom's birthday, but she said go on anyways, and I did! A WILD night to say the least, but a great show! A rare 1992 "Attics of My Life," BEE-YOO-TEE-FUL!
Setting sun & great weather at the first year in Vermont since ?! Kicked it off with "Let The Good Times Roll," perfect, just perfect...
Only 2 JGB shows I got to see in '93, but "Cats Under The Stars" & "Second That Emotion" in Hartford and "Shining Star" & "Rubin & Cherise" in Worcester made it all-right...
A MONSTER Spanish Jam in Auburn Hills the night before Jerry's birthday in '94; the combined energy inside was clearly palpable, felt like the roof was gonna blow off that sucka at one point!
Jerry, alone, in his van parked along the Warfield; me just walking by...
My favorite: A "suit & tie" was leaving the show at Soldier Field, and a "head" hung over the rail and told him he liked the dude's tie, and could he have it, all with a smile. The suit smiled, declined, and kept walking, then stopped, turned around, pulled the tie off his neck and handed it to the stranger. And mutual hug, and life goes on...
So remember, in these current times we find ourselves in, whether for good or ill, "The future's here, we are it, we are on our own..."
So until I leave for vacation on the 16th, grab yourself one of these kick-ass blasted '09 Tour spoons by Kraig for 70 bones out the door!
